Will my embedded journal display my Friends-Only or Private entries?

Depending on the method of embedding that you are using, your protected entries (https://www.insanejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=63) may or may not show up. The only methods that currently support protected entries in embedded journals are HTML Frames and JavaScript.

If you are using the HTML Frames method to embed your journal and are either using your journal URL or a customview URL, anyone who wishes to view your protected posts will need to be logged into InsaneJournal with an expiration setting of "Never." They may also need to check and make sure that their browser's security settings allow third-party use of cookies.

If you are using the HTML Frames method with a customview URL or are using the JavaScript method to embed your journal, you will need to modify the customview URL that you are using to check for cookies. This can be done with the "checkcookies" parameter.
