I'm not too good with all this writing about myself crap.I never have been.If you really want to get to know me,I suggest you have a conversation with me,one that will keep me interested and entertained.I'm not very attentive sometimes,sorry.I'm pretty sure most of you know what band i'm from,if not i guess you dont listen to the radio or watch TV much.I'm the lead guitarist for Avenged Sevenfold.So,I guess I'll give this little bio a shot and let you in to my insane life that I wouldn't trade for the world.
Brian Haner,jr.You can only call me Brian if you're special.July 7,1981 was when the world or rather the state of California was never to be the same again.I've been playing guitar since I was 12 years old.The first guitar I'd ever had was a Micheal Jackson acoustic that my Grandparents had got me for Christmas one year.After that i was hooked,there was no going back.My dad,whose a part time comedian,taught me the basics of it all.Once I got that all down I started teaching myself by ear,breaking down parts of songs.I went to collage for not even a full year for jazz stuff even though I listened to most metal stuff.I already knew Jimmy or the Rev since eighth grade and I knew he was in a band.I guess he told the band that he knew someone that played gutiar and they did need another guitarist.I already knew Matt and all I really had to do was play a little for them.Collage went bye bye and the band became fulltime for me and the guys.After touring and doing small shows where only maybe 30 kids would come,we eventually got recognized by Goodlife.Sounding the Seventh Trumpet was recorded with them,even though all the money came from our pockets.We left Goodlife for Hopeless.Hopeless treated us very well.We recorded Waking the Fallen and then re-recorded STST.Then,Warner Bros. came along and we've been with them for a good two or three years now.they're great,we have alot of freedom.We did three Warped Tours and an Ozzfest.I love both tours,they're fun and no matter what the fans are always great.At the moment we're in the UK.
I've been with a very wonderful girl for the past three going on four years of my life.Michelle Dibenedetto,has stuck by me through thick and thin.At first it was all just foooling around and what not at parties.Eventually it started happening so much even when sober that we just decided fuck it,lets go for it!Ever since then it's been the best realtionship I've ever been in.Of course we have our fights,but if we didn't then we wouldn've called it quits a long time ago.I can honestly say that I love this girl.If I could I'd take her to Vegas righr fucking now and marry her,her parents would be pissed,but she'd be mine forever.We plan on it doing that soon though,kids too.As for the only little pitter patter of feet that will be heard in our house will be Pinkly's four little feet.
My life's great!I couldn't ask for more.Yes,it's alittle nuts sometimes....all the time,but I like that way.I think i'd be alittle lost if it wasnt as insane as it is.I get to travel the world with my best friends in a great band.I've got a clothing line that doing more then well.The greatest girl in the world is mine.Life's good.
