On my way into work this morning, I was attacked by PIXIES.
They tore my robes and messed up my hair and they're HORRIBLE creatures. I didn't want to be late to work (I just started two weeks ago, I don't want to be labeled as a screw up already!), so I fixed up my robes the best I couldI never was much good at repairing spells. and made my way into work.
All was well until about twenty minutes later. I'm sitting at my desk, working, when a pixie comes flying out of a hiding spot in my robes and starts terrorizing the office!
Now, my boss is blaming me and the pixie is still loose in the Ministry and I don't know what to do and this is the worst day everokay, second worst. and I just want to go home and hide in bed.

Who the hell do these shops think they are, charging that much for undergarments? I don't get much of a supplement in the first place, but they're still charging me a bloody arm and a leg for a piece of fabric and wire that holds my breasts up! It's thievery, I tell you!

Ooh! I got out of the shower this morning and dried my hair and much to my glee and surprise, IT'S CURLY.
This is brilliant. Best hair day ever!!!Never mind that it took 15 minutes to make it not look like Hermione's hair. Still beats an hour trying to curl it!

So it appears either people haven't been scratching things out properly, or these journals are messing with our minds again. At any rate, maybe you lot should think before you scratch things out, yeah?
So I heard on the Wireless this morning, about the parents who have been controlling their kid with the imperius curse. Why would anyone do that to their child? Can't they just let the kid live his own life and make his own choices? My parents would never do anything like that to me (hopefully, anyway), they just TELL me when they think I should change something.
"Kat, darling, I think you should become a Professional Quidditch Player."
"Alright, Mum."
"Kat, darling, I think you should marry that wonderful man you keep bringing over."
"Alright, Mum."
"Kat, darling, I think you should start having lots of babies and give me more grandchildren!"

I'm such a coward. All my life, I've never completed the things that mean the most to me. I failed at my Quidditch career, because I gave up. I failed at my marriage, because I gave up. All because I couldn't handle some pressure or attention. I was distracted. That entire year, my life fell around me.
It took me so long to finally realise what an idiot I was. I guess now I'm starting to build things back up, starting to branch out and realise that maybe Mac and I are meant to be together. I'm just so afraid of failing.
If you had asked me when I was in Hogwarts, where I saw myself when I was 25, I'd tell you "Brilliant Quidditch Player, wife and mother!" Honestly. Those three things are the main goals and aspirations in my life. Right now? I am none of them. I'd love to have kids, I'd love to have a career and I want to learn as I go. Try and balance all those things.
I just feel like I'm not going anywhere.

There's something to be said about a bloke singing outside a girls window to get her attention (kidnapping is still better) but fucking hell, Wood. Couldn't you have HIRED someone to sing for you? You sounded like a drowning cat.
Also, next time (should you fuck up again) try to do it a bit quieter, yeah?
Oh and as to all the Mum's complaining about the Dino's, maybe you should have been more selective for which ones you let your kids have. My little Faramir hasn't ever bit me more than a little nibble and I certainly haven't lost any finger tips!

Why does this shite always happen to me!?
Got burned by a dragon today. Don't know how many people can say that. Well, aside from the other people who got burned today, and Dragon Keepers.
Took loads of pictures though, since it really was a wicked burn. I even asked the Medi-Witches to heal it but make sure there's a scar, because really, how often does half of the flesh on your calf burn away?
Still, it hurt like amother fu lot. No more surprises this week, please?

I've never been one that cared much about my appearance, but these new robes are brilliant. I've made more sales today than all of last week, and I keep getting loads of compliments. I wonder if that means I should loose some weight...

My Centosaurus's (I looked him up!) name is Faramir. He's taken to snuggling on my lap in the evenings, and I think he's doing something that's akin to purring!

I found a pet that I'm not allergic to!
Who do I have to talk to about keeping him? I've already determined he likes eating veggies, not meat. I'm not sure what kind of dinosaur he is though. Something non-meat-eating.
I'm going to go to the library today to do some research. I bought him a cute little home from a street peddler (made for crups, so it's pretty big!), that's set up in the flat and I fed him some and he seems perfectly happy!
Where are they coming from??

I just found out that I'm going to be an Aunt, again!!
Tonight was our bi-weekly family dinner that we do at Mum and Dad's, and Cassie and her husband Brent announced that they're headed to Russia to adopt a baby!
They leave next week for 30 days! Cassie'll return home every few days, and the girls'll be staying with my Mum and Dad for most of it (Elaine just started Preschool and they don't want to tear her away already) so I'll be doing a fair bit of babysitting I guess! But Cassie and Brent they have to go through a long process to finish the adoption. Apparently they've been studying Russian for the last few weeks, and Nana got them in contact with a few people she still knows from over there.
This is so exciting! A new addition to the family in a month. Mum and Dad are unbelievably happy and planning a party and all sorts of things.

Release negotiated. Agreement was easily obtained, had to wear a bikini all weekend and jog on the beach.
Returned to England by first class Apparation this morning.
Had a brilliant time, and now I'm sad to be putting my winter robes back on.

Honestly, I can see why some people are a bit taken-aback, but my future didn't look all too bad! Looked like I kept in shape and that I had a good number of kids. I can handle that!
