PRIVATE TO LOYAL FRIENDS & FAMILY )

I have decided to take Amycus up on his kind offer and will therefore be returning hom in England for the next week or so. It'll be nice to see old friends and family, I'm sure, and I can always visit Marseilles next time.

JOURNAL ENTRY: two ■ [26 Apr 2008|04:21am]
I must say that it's rather surprising to see that the protests and griping died down all of a day or so after the news of the pardoning was announced. Are you really all so one-track minded as to have moved on to complaining about something else already? How terribly humorous. I must confess, however, that I shall miss all of the witty debate that went along with it, but I imagine that somehow I will find a way to move on and fill the void with something just as thrilling. Indeed, I was actually considering today that I might take my long-overdue holiday leave and head to Marseilles before it gets too cold to go anywhere. Honestly, I believe it would be a nice change from the monotony of paperwork and home and the house elves and Bellatrix suggested that she might be stopping by, which is something I would rather av I won't deny that they're helpful little creatures most of the time, but they hardly make good conversation when there's nothing else to do. I also haven't been shopping properly in months, I daresay most of my wardrobe is quite out of da I've cousins of my mother that reside just on the outskirts of the city, too, so I could use the time to visit them and wind down for a week or two. Paris is to It's certainly something to think about.

JOURNAL ENTRY: one ■ [20 Apr 2008|03:08am]
Well, isn't that interesting! Funny, I've been receiving the Prophet out here for years and it finally pai It's certainly a surprise, at the very least, but c'est la vie. Despite the general opinion on the matter, I must say that I'm rather pleased that part of England - the part that actually matters - seems willing to grow up and move on from what happened nearly a decade ago. Really, how can anyone feel truly justified in spewing out their babble of forgiveness and correcting the errors of the past when they're not willing to do it where it counts most? Everybody makes mistakes and these pardoned lot evidently made quite a few. Of course, I wouldn't consider myself an expert on the subject as I moved away long before the war ended, so what do I know? Human beings are the strangest creatures - it's rather amusing, actually.
