Summary:What are the rules on using proxies?
Original Request:
I guess this is more of a question than a problem, but I wasn't sure where else to ask!

Because of my slight paranoia over security and bad experience, I now use a trusted paid-for proxy for general internet surfing that lets me email/post with an assumed IP. I honestly don't think I'll remember to switch the proxy off every time I go to post or comment, but since all I want to do is play in a certain RPG, would this be a problem or cause account issues?
