Summary:A community as its own friend?
Original Request:
My RPG community (wingardiumrpg) would like to be able to view community posts from its friends list. However, we are not able to manage such a thing for some reason. Things we have tried:

1. Friend the community working as itself -- there is no drop down menu on the 'Edit Friends' page that I can see.
2. Using the admin console.
3. Inviting the comm to join the comm -- this one was admittedly an act of desperation.

Our sister comm on LJ it a member of itself and so posts can be viewed on the friends list -- although it's been so long now that no one can remember how this was achieved. If you can help us out then that would be fantastic.

This was an old feature that worked when asylums were considered separate accounts that could be logged into. Now that asylums are managed by moderators and maintainers rather than just being a separate account they cannot be logged into, and therefore cannot add other journal's (or itself) as a friend.
