FAQ Reference:
How do I change the e-mail address for my InsaneJournal account?

Hi chelsks-

If you know the usernames and passwords you are trying to recover, you can log in and change the e-mail address associated with them. See the referenced FAQ for additional help with that.

If you do not know the usernames and you no longer have access to the e-mail they are registered with, unfortunately, there is not a way to have those names sent to you. This FAQ [http://www.insanejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=13&q=username] has additional information.

However, you may be able to use the site search feature to locate any usernames associated with that e-mail address if the e-mail was publicly listed on the account and obtain them that way, then if you know the passwords for those accounts, you can proceed with updating the e-mail address for them.

Thanx -
H2
