If so, have you chosen to receive notifications in your message center?

For your e-mail, have you tried adding webmaster@insanejournal.com and lj_dontreply@insanejournal.com to your allowed list? Also, what e-mail provider are you currently using?

I think I am getting most of my emails now. I don't even know how to set it to get notifications in the message center. My email doesn't have junk filtering turned on and it's a Mac.com email address. It was happening on multiple journals that a own.

As a side note, one of the communities I run isn't getting notifications when people request to join, even though it's set up to notify us in the settings. I don't know if these issues are related at all.

Which community isn't notifying you of who joins?

onceuponadream and onceuponanooc, which are both moderated membership communities are not sending notifications when someone tries to join.

In the past did you ever have that community registered to another email address and then updated or changed the email?

We've seen an issue with another journal/community and would like to see if the issue is related.

I think we may have had it associated with a different email address in the past - or we had another email address on the maintainer account, but the new email has been verified and we receive regular comment notifications on that account.
